After leaving Grand Forks for 8 years, I move back to my native city in 2015 and joined Crary Real Estate as the Operating Manager.
Prior to my current role, I was a Senior Transaction Coordinator at Cassidy Turley Commercial Real Estate Services in St. Louis, Missouri. In this position I represented corporate tenants in specific submarkets. I controlled Phoenix, Tucson, Salt Lake City, Denver, Hawaii, Houston and Dallas. I completed over 125 lease renewals as well as over 85 acquisitions, relocations and new office development. My estimated transaction value in this role is placed over $30,000,000.
Before living in St. Louis for 2.5 years, I was a resident of Washington DC. I moved to DC to intern for National Student Leadership. During my time as an intern, I traveled both domestically and international conducting and helping with the production of leadership forums, specifically targeted toward college students. As an intern I also had responsibilities regarding the coordination of the National Prayer Breakfast. Upon completing the 9 month internship, I was Director of the Congressional Fellow Program. In this role I was responsible for the recruitment and placement of 24 student leaders from around the United States. Each student was placed as an intern to the staff of different members of congress.
Prior to my time in DC, I attend Bethel University in St. Paul Minnesota where I majored in marketing and entrepreneurship. As a student I traveled abroad and completed a semester at Bond University in Queensland, Australia. I spent my summer months as a construction laborer working on the concrete crew for Affinity Builders.
In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors. Hunting and fishing are among some of my favorite activities. I also enjoy traveling, having visited 24 countries, I enjoy meeting new people and having new experiences.
Hi, I’m Zac and I grew up in Eden Prairie, MN. I have been a professional snowboarder since I was 16 and recently retired to be home with my family. I have a wife and 2 kids and in our free time we like to go to the lake, travel, and do anything outdoors.

I grew up in Baudette MN on the shores of Lake of the Woods. I spent my childhood playing sports, hunting and fishing. After high school I moved to Grand Forks to attend college at UND majoring in Engineering. In 2009 I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. After graduation I went to work for AE2S, a civil/environmental engineering firm headquartered in Grand Forks. My career started working in the world of water, primarily rural water, where I assist getting water to farmsteads throughout eastern North Dakota. In 2012, I graduated UND with a master’s degree in environmental engineering. Since graduating I have purchased several different investments, personal, and agricultural properties for myself and with business partners. In 2016, I married my wife, Alli, and in 2018 we welcomed our first born, Gordie. We currently live on the south end of Grand Forks.
Over the course of the last 10 years I have thoroughly enjoyed the real estate market. The buying and selling of houses is exhilarating. I was born and raised in Grand Forks, so I’d say I am very familiar with the area! I went to Ben Franklin Elementary, South Middle School, and Grand Forks Central High School. I am now pursuing Accounting at Northland Community and Technical College. I love the City of Grand Forks. It’s the happy medium of not being too small of a town, but also not being too big of a city! It’s nice to make lots of connections and relationships within a community like ours!
Aside from real estate and school, I like to go to the gym, spend time outside, and keep busy with any of my projects. I also love spending time with my four cats and corgi. My cats Bootsie, Blue, Lucky, and Star all teach my dog, Georgie, how to live the ultimate cat life. I always catch her taking cat naps throughout the day just like her cat buddies.

I grew up in Argyle, MN, a small town about 40 minutes NE of Grand Forks. In high school I worked for my grandpa’s crop dusting business, taking apart airplanes and building new ones. I took steps to get my pilots license, not to be a part of that business, but just thought it would be awesome to have. Once I graduated high school, I moved to Grand Forks and attended the University of North Dakota. I graduated in 2015 and started my career at the Alerus Center managing the box office and marketing the arena shows. While working I found a love for real estate. I was 24 when I bought my first apartment building where I still live and manage. Less than a year after that, I bought my second building that I also manage myself. I love the opportunities this industry creates for people, whether it’s investing, or finding a place to live and raise a family.
I was born and raised in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pa and moved to the family farm in Fisher, MN in 2011. My husband and I both work in Grand Forks so travel was very rough in the winter so we made the move to Grand Forks in 2022. For the past 3 ½ years, I am the full-time Administrative and Media Assistant at Sharon Lutheran Church. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family & Friends.

Over dinner, in the movie It’s a Wonderful Life, the youthful George Bailey declares to his dad that after college he doesn’t intend to work in the long established small town family ‘building and loan’ business, but rather wants to go out in the world and accomplish great and important things.
Peter Bailey thoughtfully looks up from his meal and gently responds to his son: “You know, George, I feel that in a small way we are doing something important … satisfying a fundamental urge. It’s deep in the race for a man to want his own roof and walls and fireplace, and we’re helping him get those things in our shabby little office.”
It is probably a little corny to some, yet it really is all about Home to me so I keep the above sentiment in mind as I try to find my place in the community and my job in real estate.
