Halloween Fun In Grand Forks ND

Are you looking for Halloween fun in Grand Forks for the whole family to enjoy? Then you’re in luck, because we have some great suggestions. After all, as a builder of homes in Grand Forks ND, we want to share the fun and festivities that make this place – and our communities – such a wonderful place to call home!

Pumpkin Patches & Corn Mazes
The best way to start off the Halloween season is with a visit to a pumpkin patch. Nelson’s Pumpkin Patch has plenty of pumpkins to choose from, but you can make a whole day out of the visit. Who doesn’t love a good corn maze! They have two: one for the pre-school set and an 11-acre one for older participants. Tractor hayrides, farm animal petting zoos, a corn cannon, a trike track, and even the Gruesome Canary Haunted House offer something for everyone. Plus there are delicious treats at the concession stands.

There’s also a new pumpkin patch in town: the Patch on the Point at Paradise Stables, one of the largest pumpkin patches in the area. This is another great option for the whole family to enjoy autumn fun with horse-drawn wagon rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, lawn games, a 100-foot super slide, a pedal GoKart track, food truck and much more.

For more corn maze fun, there’s the Valley Corn Maize, open through October 20 on weekends. This year there’s the “Snoopy 4 Prez” themed 15-acre maze, along with a Kids Straw Maze for the younger crowd. But wait, there’s more! Along with a giant bubble station you can enjoy a large-scale tic-tac-toe, tetherball, a grain-train ride, food and drinks, and plenty more games.

Halloween Movies & Laughs

The Empire Arts Center has some films and improv for teens and adults throughout the month, including movie showings of Young Frankenstein, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show, as well as the Nine and Numb Improv Troupe performing Night of the Laughing Dead for a fun mix of laughs and frights!

Haunted Houses

If you can’t resist a haunted house, head to the Myra Museum grounds for the Legends of Terror Haunted House with haunted history and a scary murder mystery for those 12 and up on October 25-26, 2025, from 8 pm to midnight. On October 27, from 1-4 pm, there’s the Half Pint Haunt, the perfect trick-or-treat for young children! Start with cider and cookies inside the Myra Museum before a fun and not-so-scary trick-or-treat journey through the museum’s buildings.

Trick or Treat

The Visit Grand Forks website offers an extensive list of safe and festive trick-or-treat events taking place from October 20 onward at a variety of locations throughout the city, including the YMCA, Downtown, the Grand Forks Public Library and more.

These are just some of the Halloween events you’ll find throughout Grand Forks for the whole family to enjoy. We also offer a variety of homes in Grand Forks ND to meet a range of interests and preferences, so contact us today to learn more about our homes and this wonderful community.
